Bethany is Home!!! Woo Hooo!

My younger sister Bethany has been in Russia for the past four months. She went there to teach the Russian children English, with the program ILP (International Language Program)  She did an amazing job over there and had so much fun. I always looked forward to hearing from her and hearing the new, funny, and exciting stories she would tell. I am so happy that she is finally home! It was a long four months without my best friend. I can't wait for Sunday. She will be cooking the family an authentic Russian dinner and is going to tell us all about her trip. I am very excited to hear all of her stories.

Sveta, the ILP Principal

Bethany's Host Grandmother. This woman was amazing.
I am so glad that Bethany was so blessed to be placed with her.

They didn't have dryers there, so she had to dry her clothes by line in the hallway.

St Isaac's Cathedral

The Church of Spilled Blood

The Girls on the Metro. The would need to take the
Metro if they wanted to go anywhere.

Bethany's breakfast. She was expected to eat this every morning. Yikes!

Teaching drama to her class

Some of Beth's kiddos

The cute and adorable Radion. We think that he
looks like he could be her son. lol

It's amazing to think of the long history of that place. The pictures of those buildings are beautiful and wow...they're so old and timeless looking.
